By booking or attending classes at Waiheke Pilates Centre, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings are prepaid and made at the time of booking via our online platform, Momence.
  • Pre-booking is essential as space is limited and spots are not always guaranteed.
  • On Demand classes are purchased via https://www.pilatesbykristinondemand.com
  • Payments are processed through a 3rd party called Stripe.
  • Physio bookings are made directly with Physiotherapist Jo Cruz at physio1@xtra.co.nz.

2. Packages, Memberships,Trials, & Discounts

  • New Client Intro Offer (available for limited time only): 3 classes for $59. This offer is only valid for clients who are new to our studio (but not new to Pilates). One per person, not shareable. Not valid for courses, private sessions or in the On Demand Library. Must be used in 10 days.
  • Class Packages are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase, except for the casual pass which is valid 30 days. Packages may be shared with family members, but each member must have an account and have signed the liability waiver.
  • Courses, Private 1:1, Duets, Private Groups and On Demand subscriptions are valid for 30 days or the duration of the course, 4 or 6 weeks. Traveller’s packages are valid for 14 days.
  • Memberships are based on a 12-month contract. You may pause your membership for up to 4 weeks per year.
  • Early termination of a membership will incur a $100 cancellation fee.
  • FREE Birthday pass – offer expires 10 days from the date of the birthday email sent. Valid for one pass in a general class offered at the studio. Not valid for private one-on-one or duet sessions. 
  • There are no extensions, rollovers, or retroactive adjustments for missed or unused classes on promotions, packages, courses, or weekly memberships.
  • We offer discounted rates for workplace wellness programs & students enrolled in tertiary education for our Reformer & Mat,Yoga and Barre classes, and for clients aged 70+ in our studio mixed equipment classes. Contact us directly to set this up.

3. Waitlist policy 

  • If you’re moved from the waitlist into a class, you’ll be notified up to 1 hour before the start time. Please note that our 24-hour cancellation policy still applies once you’re added.

4. Studio Etiquette

To ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone, we kindly ask all clients to:

  • Be respectful of others by limiting distractions during classes.
  • Phones must be kept with your personal items turned down to limit disruptions (except in emergencies).
  • Keep your personal area tidy and clean throughout your visit.
  • Remove all your belongings from the studio after your class.
  • Bring a small towel if you wish, and a water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • Wear grip socks during studio classes whenever possible for safety and hygiene
  • Remove your shoes on entry to the studio and place them in the basket at your reformer or mat.

5. Schedule Policy

  • Instructor schedules may occasionally change, including in emergencies, to ensure service quality and meet business needs. All bookings remain subject to the 24-hour cancellation policy, even during these changes.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • GROUP CLASSES
    Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
  • PRIVATE SESSIONS
    Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of your pass (if using a class package) or a fee (if on a membership).
  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows are subject to the loss of the session or a late fee.
  • SPECIALTY COURSES & TERMS (4 OR 6 WEEK PROGRAMMES)
    The standard 24-hour cancellation policy does not apply.
  • There are no rollovers for missed or unused sessions.
  • Classes will only be rescheduled if the instructor is unavailable or most of the group cannot attend. In that case, the session will roll over to the following week.
  • OFF SITE EVENTS
    For all off-site private bookings scheduled between October and April, we require a two-week cancellation notice.
  • Cancellations made within two weeks of the booking date will be charged the full session fee. This policy ensures we have adequate time to manage scheduling and staffing for off-site services during our high season.

7. How to Cancel

  • The fastest and most reliable way to cancel your booking is via your online account.
  • Cancellations made by email or text message are not guaranteed and do not allow others the opportunity to fill your spot and may result in forfeiting your class credit, except for private groups.

8. Refunds

  • We do not offer refunds on purchases, bookings, or memberships, except in extreme circumstances. You may exchange your purchase for another service of equal value or gift it to a friend. Original expiry dates still apply.

9. Referral Program-Get a Free Class!

  • Refer a friend to our studio and when they spend $200, you’ll receive a free pass to any class! It’s our way of saying thank you for spreading the word.

10. Health & Safety

  • Clients are required to complete a brief health intake questionnaire upon joining the studio. Private session clients must complete a more detailed online intake form.
  • By participating in our classes, you acknowledge that you are medically fit for physical activity and do so at your own risk. 

11. Injuries and Special Conditions

  • Our reformer classes are not intended for injury rehab or medical conditions. If you’re injured or in recovery, please book a private or specialised session. Participation is at your own risk—always inform your instructor of any limitations beforehand.

12. Photography & Media

  • From time to time, we may capture photos or videos during classes for promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish to appear in any marketing materials, please inform us in advance or let your instructor know.

13. Instructor Qualifications

  • All of our instructors are qualified to teach Pilates, Yoga, and/or Barre. We are committed to providing a safe, professional and supportive environment.

14. Liability Waiver Agreement

  • All clients are required to read and sign the Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk before their first class or session, whether attending in-studio or online. Signing this waiver is a mandatory condition of participation and access to our services.
  • Clients creating an online account through our booking system will be prompted to review and accept this waiver electronically.
